Pieper

KLEP-theater presents Pieper, a mobile puppet theatre production combining puppetry, objects, mime and live music. Performing from a theatre on wheels, KLEP-theater travels throughout the Netherlands with distinctive performances for audiences of different ages.

In Pieper, audiences are taken into an industrial potato factory, where Dingetje falls in love with a rejected, knobbly potato. Determined to bring her beloved potato to life, she embarks on a journey in search of a solution. Along the way, she encounters Jan Patat, a bag of fries, and a fossilised primordial potato, while attempting to escape Appie, the supermarket ghost.

The performance takes audiences on a visual and musical journey through the food industry, underground roots and the magical world of the potato. Pieper is a playful puppet theatre production for audiences young and old.
