Noorderzon X Amarte: Sigrid Koster & Jochem Knoef

What happens when you give musicians, sound artists and makers from different disciplines complete freedom after sunset? Noorderzon, Amarte, Simplon and STROMING organised an open call with which they invited artists to submit their proposals for three nights built entirely around experimentation. Each evening is shaped from scratch by a different artist or collective, with work that doesn't easily fit within the walls of a music venue, the format of a club night, or the context of a traditional presentation space.

On the 27th of August, as part of the Noorderzon Festival Night Programme,  Sigrid Koster en Jochem Knoef will present an audiovisual experience, with which they combine installation art, folklore and electronic music into a contemporary ritual. Through image, sound and stories of origin, you're invited to enter a temporary world.
