I Decompose Everyday
In I Decompose Everyday, Tindra Eliason examines how traces of past lives persist in the objects that surround us, informing shifting notions of belonging. The selected items evoke memory, distance, and quiet reflection, functioning almost as internalised images or mental snapshots. Through precisely layered airbrush techniques, Eliason offers a perspective on the ways in which personal history, cultural transition, and emotional resonance become embedded in familiar material forms. The exhibition has been developed in close dialogue with curator Maria Nåtoft; their ongoing conversations on memory, migration, and material culture have played a central role in shaping the work.
