Vlinder

Achref Adhadhi received a grant to develop the youth theatre production Vlinder. The performance explores not only romantic love, but also love for oneself, for others, for nature, and for the things around us, and it is never too early to learn this. Vlinder centres on connection, sharing, and on how love can be felt, experienced, and expressed.

Achref is a theatre maker and mime performer. He creates youth performances in which he presents serious and personal themes in a light, poetic, and humorous way. Trained as a physical actor, he is known for his expressive use of mime. His previous productions include Hieperdepiep… Amboula!, with which he won the Audience Award at the Café Theatre Festival, as well as Kubus Kubus Kubus and Thuis Best.
