experts

Amarte believes that support from an expert can help creators advance in their development. If your application for a project or development grant is approved, Amarte therefore offers the expert program, in which granted artists are paired with one expert of their choice (provided that this person works in the Netherlands). This can be someone from your own network, an expert from Amarte’s network, or a professional with whom you’d like to connect. The expert cannot be part of your team for this project. If your application is approved, Amarte will provide an additional sum (on top of the grant) to cover the collaboration with an expert. Working with an expert is not mandatory, but it can certainly help you move forward.

Please note: the expert programme is only available in combination with a project or development grant. It is not possible to apply for the expert programme alone.
