Opteffen

Ruben den Brok and Koen Frijns received a grant to develop the music theater performance Opteffen. A musical experience that the duo themselves describe as Brabohop: beats, Brabants and roar.

Frino is an Eindhoven-based duo consisting of playwright Koen Frijns and musician Ruben den Brok. They make Brabant hip-hop (brabohop) in (partly invented) Brabants. In their new performance they focus on life in Eindhoven and what influence the geographical distance from one's native soil has on one's identity and language.
