Daniel Simu received a contribution to develop a performance about technology and circus with his Acrobot. A circus performer and a robot meet on stage. What happens when a robot is physically dependent on a human to balance? Can a robot learn tricks?

Daniel is a circus performer, inventor and researcher. By day he juggles hoops, people or fire, but at night you will often find him working with electronics, wood and metal, or programming code. From his endless interest in the surprising, bizarre and impossible, he gets energy and motivation for creative projects and collaborations such as a fruit juggling festival, an acrobatics robot or a bicycle wheel organ.
