Mystha Mandersloot

Mystha Mandersloot received a contribution to develop the performance in which three people with wombs take the audience through their experiences with abortion in a play of music, dance and spoken word. 'ABORTUSVERHALEN' is a theatrical symposium that goes beyond being for or against. It is about human lives. "Because our stories need to be told, taboos need to be broken and to show that we are not alone."

Mystha Mandersloot is a theater producer and theater teacher. During her years of study at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht, she has profiled herself as an interdisciplinary and engaged theater maker. In her work, she deals with social issues through personal stories. In addition to her own performances, Mystha is also active as part of art collective Nachtmotten.

Mystha recently won the audience award at the Delft Fringe Festival with "ABORTUSVERHALEN.
