Will Remain
Duo Lehit received a grant to develop a concert series. Will Remain highlights Ukrainian classical music, from the 19th century to contemporary compositions. Throughout history, many Ukrainian composers have remained unrecognised due to political unrest and shifting cultural landscapes, leaving their music in the shadows. This project aims to change that by bringing these forgotten voices to the stage. With a carefully curated programme of transcriptions and original works — including a newly commissioned piece by Jeyana Morozenko — Duo Lehit invites audiences to discover a vibrant and long-overlooked part of Europe’s musical heritage.
Duo Lehit is a panflute and piano duo — a unique combination that offers a fresh perspective on classical music. Their repertoire spans from classical to contemporary, including their own transcriptions and newly composed works.
Taras Berchtold, originally from Switzerland, studies panflute in Amsterdam. He has won several international competitions, performed in various European concert halls, and participated in innovative projects that expand the panflute’s repertoire.
Anastasiia Bohodysta, born in Ukraine, is a talented pianist who has performed internationally, won international competitions, and played in prestigious venues such as the Concertgebouw and TivoliVredenburg.
