Project grant

Daan Oostdam received a grant to develop a solo piano album with 7 Mountain Records, dedicated to the works of Nikolai Medtner. Together with Frerik de Jong, he will record it in Valthermond, in the old concert farm of Rian de Waal.

Daan is a classical pianist from Amsterdam. In 2023, he received his master's degree from the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music. He has a preference for romantic piano repertoire. Active as a solo pianist and chamber musician, he plays in the Riedbach piano trio and his cello-piano duo with Simon Velthuis. In 2024, he will make solo CD recordings for 7 Mountain Records.
