Hilde Onis received a grant to carry out a poetic exploration. How are memories connected to the landscapes in which we grow up? In TRANSPORT, Hilde delves into the world of transportation — highways, petrol stations, and refrigerated trucks — and investigates how these industrial spaces resonate with themes such as identity, loss, and change.

Hilde is a visual artist who creates sculptures and installations, and also writes prose and poetry. Her work explores the issues of interdependence that exist between ourselves and everything we surround ourselves with, and investigates the language embedded within materials.
