En je wordt weer thuis gebracht

Anna Raadsveld

Anna Raadsveld received a grant for writing her prose debut. En je wordt weer thuis gebracht is a literary exploration of the mutual influence between psychological disorder and one’s immediate environment. At its core, it examines not only the older sister’s bipolar disorder but also its impact on the younger sister as the narrator. The book investigates what it’s like to grow up in close proximity to a mental illness and the traces it leaves behind.

Anna is a versatile creator with a background in acting. She studied at the Toneelacademie Maastricht and has appeared in various theater, film, and television productions. In recent years, she has further developed as a theater maker and writer, drawing from her experience as a performer. In her work, she explores how new ways of seeing and thinking can emerge. Her writing operates at the intersection of experience, imagination, and research, where personal and collective perspectives converge.
