Jennifer Hopelezz is one of Amsterdam’s most iconic drag queens and the proud mother of House of Hopelezz, a collective of flamboyant and creative drag artists whose personalities are as colorful as their mommy issues. You Can Call Me Mommy is a documentary, told from the perspective of one of Jennifer’s "drag daughters," exploring themes of chosen families and the many ways someone can be, and nurture, a mother.

Indie Nile is an award-winning theater maker and filmmaker from Amsterdam. Known as a "drag therapist," Indie uses the art of drag in his storytelling. He was recently nominated for the prestigious Podiumprijs. Before diving into theater and drag, Indie trained as a filmmaker and screenwriter, winning several awards for his documentary work.
