Autonomy

Faydim Ramshe received a grant for the development of an intimate and layered stop-motion project centred on the inner world of a young woman. In collaboration with visual artist Stella Rammeloo, Faydim is developing a visually distinctive story about finding language for what moves within. The project builds on their earlier stop-motion teaser Kimiko and is currently in the development phase.

Faydim and Stella form an artistic duo who met at the Netherlands Film Academy. Faydim is a filmmaker and screenwriter, while Stella is a visual artist with a background in animation. Their collaborative work moves between poetic realism and personal visual language, with a strong focus on form and depth. Themes such as autonomy, inner life, and womanhood run as a continuous thread through their projects.
