Odapark
Charlott Markus received a grant for the development of new work. Odapark is a spatial installation where sculpture, sound, and sensory experience converge. The work creates an environment in which hiddenness and vulnerability become tangible, inviting visitors to physically relate to the space. During the exhibition period, the installation is also activated live by a new performance incorporating voice, body, and movement. As a result, the work continually shifts between silence, presence, and interaction. The presentation encourages deceleration, listening, and a direct experience of space, body, and mental landscapes.
Charlott is a visual artist whose practice centers on spatial installations that bring together sculpture, sound, and sensory experience. In her work, she explores how space and material influence the way people engage with themes such as mental health, hiddenness, and vulnerability. Her installations create environments where visitors do not merely observe but physically and sensorially connect with the space. Increasingly, she also investigates the role of performance, where voice, body, and presence establish a direct relationship with the audience.
