Feijão

Naida Gomes Amorim received a grant for the development of new work. Feijão is an artistic exploration of the sculptural possibilities of the bean. Through material experimentation, spatial studies, and research into food history, Naida investigates how an everyday material can carry stories of migration, memory, and cultural identity. The research forms the foundation for a new spatial installation where material, space, and sensory experience converge. In this way, food becomes not only the subject of the work but also a medium through which history, cultural transmission, and encounter are made physically tangible.
