De Nijverheid X Amarte

This summer, Amarte is once again collaborating with De Nijverheid to offer three short, intensive duo residencies for performative makers, focused on interdisciplinary work on-site. Through an open call, three duos were paired together. The second duo consists of Amy Pratt and Jiska Mensink.

On August 7th, De Nijverheid will host a collective exhibition reception. Following the reception, Amy and Jiska will present the performance they developed during their residency.

Jiska Mensink
Jiska is acteur en theatermaker. Ze werkt groots, fysiek en beeldend. Ze zoekt in haar vertelwijze een manier om het publiek ruimte te geven voor hun eigen interpretatie en hoopt hen daarmee uit te nodigen om met elkaar in gesprek te gaan.

Amy Pratt
Als een kostuumontwerper creëert Amy Pratt werk dat zich centreert rondom tastbaarheid en humor. Door performances, immersieve belevingen en levendige exposities, experimenteert ze met diverse presentatiemethodes die de kijker uitnodigen in haar wereld.
