Distanshá

Can you be so far away from someone that you cannot connect with them? To what extent are distances bridgeable? These are questions Ralph and Luan try to answer in their semi-biographical performance called Distanshá. Using spoken word as medium, Ralph and Luan explore each other's differences and similarities. Playfully, they try to find common ground and discover that they have much more in common than they thought.

Luan Buleshkaj is an Amsterdam-based word artist in the broadest sense of the word and an established name in the spoken word scene in the Netherlands. Ralph Winedt is a poet and filmmaker from Curaçao and also co-founder of Carrying Narratives: a literary platform for young people.
