BANG

BANG is a solo performance written, created and performed by Hanneke van der Paardt, in collaboration with Gillis Biesheuvel. BANG is about fear, trauma, family and growing up. It is about distance and reflection and about not reflecting and just doing things. Not having to understand everything but moving on, going outside, sledding in the snow. Rooted in the work of artists who write about their lives, such as Nicolien Mizee and Joan Didion, Hanneke searches for language and form to understand the things that have happened.
