Studio 150 X Amarte

With support from Amarte, Studio 150 launched an open call aimed at emerging musical talents interested in performing live for an audience in a unique setting. The selected artists will perform in the former Bethlehem Church in Amsterdam, where a professional concert recording of the live performance will be made.

About Cas Heim
Cas Heim is a Utrecht-based drummer, singer, and songwriter. In his playing and compositions, he constantly searches for the connection between rhythm, harmony, melody, and lyrics. In his mind, Cas travels to different places and selects special moments—real or fictional—as inspiration for his songs. Through his music, he invites the listener to join him on this journey of thought. His songs are rooted in pop but infused with elements of jazz and soul. His debut EP One Step Away, released last summer, traces its origins to New York. During his master’s studies at the conservatory, Cas spent several months in the city, immersing himself in its vibrant musical and cultural scene. It marked a step away from the familiarity of Utrecht—a time in which he took the reins and began releasing his own music.
