Steppin' presents

In collaboration with the Amarte Foundation, Steppin’ Into Tomorrow continues its series of intimate live performances in a fresh new setting: Hidden Gem Studio in Amsterdam. The eighth act to perform in this series is MAIN.

Jermaine Berkhoudt is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative path spans roles as a host, MC, sound designer, and actor. At 19, he joined the independent hip-hop label VanIeder1 (2010–2015), releasing the album Jaar vd/ Blokhoofd. As the frontman of the funk band Funky Organizers (2014–2017), he gained extensive live experience, performing at events such as Popronde 2015, touring in France, and playing major summer festivals. With the act MCJR & Th'Acquisition, he won both the jury and audience prizes at the 2017 Sena Grote Prijs van Rotterdam, after placing fourth in 2011.

Now Jermaine returns as a solo artist under the name MAIN, presenting a fresh sound with his LEEF:TIJD EP — a project that meditates on time, maturity, fatherhood, and personal transformation.
