Het Landjuweel 2025
Ruigoord and Amarte launched an open call aimed at makers wishing to creatively explore the theme of enlightenment. Several projects were selected that make the process of transformation, awareness, spirituality, or enlightenment tangible. From visual art to ritual installations, from performances to light art, and other forms. These artists will present their work during the Beeldenroute at the Landjuweel Festival.
Landjuweel Festival
The Landjuweel Festival is an annual highlight at Ruigoord. A multidisciplinary event that emphasises participation: a large portion of the attendees at Landjuweel volunteer their time and contribute to the festival—not only creatively, but also in more organisational roles. In this way, Landjuweel creates a festival each year for both young and old, where everyone can connect with Ruigoord’s core values.
Beeldenroute
During the festival at Ruigoord, the Beeldenroute takes place: an artistic walking route around the festival grounds, where visitors can experience ongoing dance, theatre, and music performances, as well as art installations. This interactive event begins on Saturday after sunset. Following a theatrical opening at the main stage, a parade band—accompanied by a themed float—guides around 5,000 visitors in a procession past all the projects. In addition to the nighttime Beeldenroute, a special children’s Beeldenroute is organised on Sunday.
The Beeldenroute can be visited on 9 and 10 August.
