Grachtenfestival

The Grachtenfestival is the largest festival in the Netherlands dedicated to classical music and jazz. Each year, it offers ten days of performances across Amsterdam, providing a platform for young talent to present themselves and connect — with one another and with (new) audiences. Guided by the pillars of talent development, diversity of venues, and innovation, the festival presents a balanced programme of traditional and contemporary music throughout the city.

Opening Concert Grachtenfestival 2025
The very first Grachtenfestival Ensemble, formed through the Grachtenfestival X Amarte open call, brings together a vibrant and unique line-up of young musicians. During the opening of the Grachtenfestival, they will make their debut with Handel’s Water Music.
