Uitnacht

During Uitnacht, Theater aan de Rijn invites three different Arnhem-based makers to each spend one hour continuously experimenting and researching in our downstairs theatre space, in response to our seasonal theme Wandering Through Imagination.

Collective ABSOLUUT. creates site-specific spectacle theatre. Using theatrical effects, stage fighting, water, fire, and a highly physical performance style, they make the experience of their wordless performance intense, transcending the everyday. Music plays a central role in their work: they mix energetic genres such as ska, rock, and techno with live sound from their instruments and voices.

ABSOLUUT. was formed in 2021 at the Arnhem Theatre School and consists of Bram Flick, Joppe Klein, Tijn Luijben, Catoo Post, and Thom Vendrik.
