Cuarteto Cimarrón

Cuarteto Cimarrón will perform during the 10th edition of De Roode Bioscoop Sessies × Amarte. The musicians form a Rotterdam-based quartet formed by Marcelo “El Pardo” Marcial Belardinelli (vocals), Álvaro Rovira Ruiz (8-string guitar), Renzo Navone Rodríguez (guitar), and Lautaro Vergara (double bass).

The quartet takes audiences on a journey through the diverse soundscapes of Argentine and Uruguayan musical traditions, from Zamba and Chacarera to Tango and Milonga, while offering their own contemporary interpretation and a fresh perspective on this rich cultural heritage.
